Alessia Cara Sweet DreamWatch at the source

Sweet Dream is a jazz-influenced pop ballad by Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara, released on July 15, 2021, as one of the lead singles from her third studio album, *In the Meantime*. Co-written with Jon Levine, Jason Evigan, Spencer Stewart, and Caroline Ailin, the song delves into the struggles of insomnia and the yearning for restful sleep. The accompanying music video, directed by Tusk, presents a surreal narrative that blurs the lines between dreams and reality, featuring whimsical imagery such as floating beds and animated sheep, symbolizing the elusive nature of sleep. The video's vibrant visuals and imaginative storytelling complement the song's introspective lyrics, offering viewers a poignant exploration of restlessness and the desire for peace.
