“I wrote Guiding Light for loved ones I have lost and for anyone who has suffered loss. For my Father, Aston. For my Cousin’s son, William. For lights that were dimmed too soon, but continue to guide and watch over us, Guiding Light was born out of my own sense of helplessness and breathlessness and seeks to impart the message that even in our darkest moments, we are not alone. I went to the piano and that sense of helplessness and breathlessness turned into a body of work that best represents the truth of my own journey and seeks to offer comfort to those who need it the most.”
