Beabadoobee's "Care," released on July 14, 2020, serves as the lead single from her debut studio album 'Fake It Flowers.' The track marks a departure from her earlier lo-fi sound, embracing a grunge-infused alternative rock style that channels '90s nostalgia. Lyrically, "Care" confronts themes of frustration and emotional neglect, with Beabadoobee expressing anger towards those who feign concern. The music video, directed by the duo Bedroom (Soren Harrison and Amir Hossain), was created during the COVID-19 lockdown, resulting in a raw and personal visual that complements the song's candidness.
