Stay Together for the Kids is a single by blink-182 from their fourth studio album, "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket," released on September 11, 2001. The song addresses the emotional impact of divorce on children, reflecting on themes of broken families and the struggles faced by youth. The first music video, directed by Samuel Bayer, was initially banned due to its resemblance to footage of the 9/11 attacks. A second version was filmed, set in an empty mansion filled with shouting teens.
