Dark Horizon WOOD, WIRE & WARWatch at the source
WOOD, WIRE & WAR is a dark outlaw country and bluegrass metal anthem by Dark Horizon—driven by aggressive melodic banjo, Southern rock guitars, marching snare drums, crushing metal riffs, and a raw melodic baritone.
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland of fire, bright smoke, gas masks, skeletons, and the walking dead, five outlaw musicians turn old wood and steel wire into a declaration of war. Rapid-fire banjo rolls collide with palm-muted guitar chugs, train-beat drums, fiddle swells, dobro, and subtle Latin-inspired percussion at 133 BPM.
The verses stay tense, emotional, and melodic. The choruses explode into a hook built to be sung and shouted:
That’s what these old strings were made for! When the whole world says “kneel,” we rise and roar!
For fans of dark country music, outlaw country, bluegrass metal, banjo metal, Southern rock, gothic western soundtracks, cinematic country rock, heavy country music, and post-apocalyptic music videos.
Bright acoustic guitar and banjo lead the attack. Bass and crushing drums hold the ground. Southern metal guitar brings the weight, while the vocal remains deeply melodic even at its most aggressive.
This is not polished pop country. This is raw cinematic outlaw music for everyone who refuses to kneel.
