Daryl Hall & John Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)” is peak 1981 cool: a sleek pop-soul groove with a new wave snap, built around one of the duo’s most instantly recognisable hooks. Directed by Jay Dubin, the official video pairs with a track that shows Hall & Oates at their sharpest — smooth, restrained, and quietly irresistible.
