Fieh Judy LawWatch at the source

The brand new Fieh single "Judy Law" out everywhere now:

Judy Law is the alter ego of Sofie Tollefsbøl (singer in Fieh): A lawyer living a rich and privileged life in designer clothing – the complete opposite of the unpredictable lifestyle of a hardworking musician.

Fieh's future soul is an own genre in itself, but with sources of inspiration such as Steve Lacey, Anderson Paak, Bootsy Collins, Gorillaz, Sharon Jones and Amy Winehouse we get an indication of how they sound in 2023. Fieh, fronted by Sofie Tollefsbøl and consisting of by the talented musicians Jørgen Kasbo (guitar), Ola Øverby (drums), Kai von der Lippe (keyboards), Solveig Wang (synth and choir), Lyder Øvreås Røed (trumpet, percussion, and horn arrangement), Andreas Rukan (bass) and Thea Arnesdotter (choir), has again created funk tunes with a great hit potential, and this time with a harder and somewhat meaner sound.

The single is about the longing for a better life, or simply to be a different person. The theme can be interpreted as self-realization, but with a dreamy aspect it reads more like wishful thinking:
