Flash Pretender (Revisited Version) HDWatch at the source

“Pretender” is a modern synth-pop track with a melodic techno edge, released by Flash on August 21, 2026, part of the EP Pretender (The Mixes), and later released as a single on October 9, 2026

The song is a fictional exploration into the life of a pretender—a man whose lifestyle is anything but normal. While in a relationship with a woman, he pushes the boundaries of his own personal exploration, dating multiple people at the same time and living between different versions of himself.

Behind the excitement and secrecy, he is deeply confused about who he really is and where his true identity lies.

But through all of the exploration, confusion, relationships, and lies, he discovers something he never expected: he has fallen in love with a man who has known the truth about him all along—and has been waiting for him.

Now, all he can hope for is that it isn’t too late. That somehow, after all the hurt, deception, and broken trust, there is still a chance.

And that the man he loves still loves him.

“Pretender” is part of the story told through the visual—an emotional journey about identity, desire, deception, and the possibility of finding your way back to the person you were meant to love.
