Horsegirl FrontrunnerWatch at the source

Frontrunner is the introspective closing single from Horsegirl's sophomore album, 'Phonetics On and On', released on February 14, 2025. Self-directed by the band in their hometown of Chicago, the music video captures the trio—Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein, and Gigi Reece—navigating familiar streets in a poignant search for connection. The track, produced by Cate Le Bon, showcases a more subdued and melodic side of Horsegirl, blending their '90s indie rock roots with a warm, '70s singer-songwriter ambiance.
