Jensen McRae White BoyWatch at the source
Jensen McRae’s “White Boy” blends emotionally raw indie folk with sharp lyrical storytelling, intimate vocal delivery, and deeply personal songwriting. The cinematic music video enhances the track’s themes of identity, relationships, and emotional tension, showcasing McRae’s signature fusion of folk-pop melodies, alternative sensibilities, and socially reflective lyricism.
“White Boy” is about a party I went to my junior year of college, where I felt completely and utterly invisible, but it's also about all the cultural issues I've grappled with my entire life--wondering whether I'm truly so different from my white peers and finding a way to be okay with it if I am. It’s about unpacking what I’m looking for from love, how I seek it out, and why.
