Johnny Cash God’s Gonna Cut You DownWatch at the source

God's Gonna Cut You Down, released posthumously in 2006 as part of American V: A Hundred Highways, is a powerful interpretation of a traditional folk song. Cash's version, with its deep, resonant voice and simple acoustic arrangement, offers a haunting message of divine justice and morality. The music video, directed by Tony Kaye, features black-and-white shots of 36 famous figures dressed in black, including Bono, Kanye West, and Justin Timberlake, emphasizing themes of mortality and redemption.
