Kate Bush This Woman’s WorkWatch at the source
A profoundly emotional piano‑led ballad originally written for the film *She’s Having a Baby* (1988) and later reworked for her 1989 album *The Sensual World*, “This Woman’s Work” finds Kate Bush directing the poignant music video herself. Featuring a stark hospital waiting room narrative with Tim McInnerny, the visual elegy mirrors the song's themes of crisis, empathy, and the fragility of life. Its raw honesty and cinematic storytelling helped the track reach #25 on the UK charts and solidify its place as one of Bush's most enduring and moving works.
