The World According to Lil Yachty. 2017

Lil Yachty swooped onto the hip-hop scene a couple years ago, and ever since he’s been one of the music’s main characters. “One Night” and “Minnesota” got him noticed quickly, and his ‘Lil Boat’ and ‘Summer Songs 2’ mixtapes hit last year. The 19-year-old Atlanta rapper’s ‘Teenage Emotions’ album drops this week. His music videos are pure entertainment. For the premiere episode of our “The World According To” series, Yachty weighed in on various aspects of his life, including his love of snacks and candy, Elton John’s sunglasses collection, high school proms, and his dad’s frugal side.
