Miranda Lambert Only PrettierWatch at the source

Miranda Lambert's "Only Prettier" is a cheeky, up-tempo country track that playfully contrasts small-town sass with big-city polish. Released on July 26, 2010, as the fourth single from her album *Revolution*, the song was co-written with Natalie Hemby and became Lambert's seventh Top 20 hit, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The accompanying music video, directed by Trey Fanjoy, features Lambert alongside Kellie Pickler, Laura Bell Bundy, and Hillary Scott of Lady A, portraying dual roles as "good girls" and "bad girls" at a 1950s-themed high school sock hop. The video's retro aesthetic and humorous narrative complement the song's witty lyrics and Lambert's spirited performance.
