Missy Elliott Get Ur Freak OnWatch at the source
Get Ur Freak On" arrived with a rattling bhangra-sample beat that sounded like nothing else in hip-hop—Timbaland's most alien production yet, all tabla percussion and digital blips. Dave Meyers matches the song's futurism with a neon-lit, kaleidoscopic set piece where Missy commands a crowd in a glowing cube while the camera spins through mirrored corridors and strobing close-ups. The video helped push the single to number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.
