NOTEP CrystalizeWatch at the source
Cyrus James Khan directs NOTEP’s 2026 video for “Crystalize,” a hushed electronic cut built on ethereal vocals, wave-like synths and a slow-blooming sense of release. Framed as a meditation on surrender, trust and transformation, the track lets its chill pulse carry themes of pressure, time and the oceanic pull of the inner self.
“Crystalize” is a piece about surrender, trust, transformation, and reconnecting with the ocean within ourselves. Blending ethereal vocals with electronic beats and wave-inspired synths, the track explores the act of letting go and allowing nature to guide us back to our inner world. Inspired by the way coral, crystals, and the human spirit are shaped through pressure and time, the song serves as a reminder that clarity often comes when we stop resisting the current.
Released on World Oceans Day, the accompanying visual transforms green-screen footage filmed entirely at home into a surreal underwater sci-fi landscape filled with crystalline reflections, coral structures, and fragmented human forms. Created in collaboration with digital artist Cyrus James Khan, the video blurs the line between nature and technology while reflecting the idea that the ocean exists not only around us, but within us.
