Regina Spektor All The RowboatsWatch at the source

A striking, metaphor-laden single from her 2012 album “What We Saw From the Cheap Seats”, “All the Rowboats” delivers baroque-infused piano-pop wrapped in themes of entrapment and artistic decay. The music video—directed by Adria Petty & Peter Sluszka with stop-motion animation—depicts Spektor tied to a drifting rowboat, struggling beneath crashing walls and underwater scenes, visually echoing the song's dark muse. Released February 28, 2012 (streaming Feb 27), the track marked her continued creative evolution.
