Act Violently is a high-octane punk track by SOFT PLAY, formerly known as Slaves, released on May 2, 2024, as the third single from their fourth studio album, "Heavy Jelly." Inspired by an incident where the duo was nearly hit by an out-of-control e-scooter, the song channels their frustration into a gritty, energetic anthem. The accompanying music video, directed by Thomas Davis, was filmed in Tunbridge Wells and features a darkly comedic narrative where Isaac Holman is tormented by a masked e-scooter rider—revealed to be bandmate Laurie Vincent.
