It's My Life is a 1984 synth-pop track by Talk Talk, which became a defining song for the band. The song features a strong blend of electronic elements and emotional vocals, capturing the new wave sound of the era. The official music video, directed by Tim Pope, is notable for its use of footage from nature documentaries, with animals juxtaposed against lead singer Mark Hollis lip-syncing in different scenes.
