The Blow Monkeys' "Digging Your Scene," released in February 1986, is a notable track from their second studio album, *Animal Magic*. Written by lead singer Dr. Robert, the song blends pop, soul, and jazz elements to address the societal stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS during the 1980s. The accompanying music video, directed by Andrew Morahan, features the band performing in a club setting adorned with a shiny tinsel backdrop, capturing the era's vibrant aesthetic. The single achieved commercial success, reaching number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Over the years, "Digging Your Scene" has been included in various compilations, such as *Choices - The Singles Collection* (1989) and *Digging Your Scene: The Best of The Blow Monkeys* (2008).
