The Cure Close to Me (Version 1)Watch at the source
The Cure’s “Close To Me” is a tightly wound 1985 classic, driven by clipped electronic textures, a restless new-wave pulse and unmistakable gothic post-punk tension. Directed by Tim Pope, it captures the band’s knack for turning unease into something irresistibly catchy.
