Ukkonen Viva Las HuelgasWatch at the source

Ukkonen is a Finnish "artic-house" producer. Debut album The Isolated Rhythms Of.. was released on Uncharted Audio in 2012, and was met with considerable underground acclaim. Despite a self-declared "zero interest in dance music", The Wire magazine called his work "a solution to the problem of dance music".

"The video is about exploring and pushing effects to the limit and breaking down footage of nature in a way which allows weirdness to occur spontaneously - in order to try and generate something original and beautiful that people will watch and not just flick through like i do with music videos on the internet . It is a big technical experiment - that is the motivation and then it is given a home and a life forever with the music track. I wanted the video to look like a cross between the My Bloody Valentine "Loveless" LP, cover with the hazy pink tremelo effect and the New Order "Power, Corruption and Lies" cover, flowers etc.."
