Composed and sung by the legendary A Hariharan, this production offers a fresh, soul-stirring interpretation of Rishi Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s timeless verses that ignited India's freedom struggle and national awakening.

Curated by the Centre for Gramophone and Allied Studies (CeGrams) with NMDC Ltd. as principal partner, this official music video bridges timeless Indian classical tradition, cinematic orchestral arrangements, and profound visual storytelling produced by Gaon Connection.

The Anthem – Vande Mataram re-imagines the mantra of Indian freedom and resistance in its 150th year. Carrying forward the musical legacy from its first recording in 1905 and Timir Baran’s iconic 1938 orchestral composition commissioned by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, this project reaffirms the spirit of the Motherland for a new global generation.

Featuring soaring flute solos by maestro Rakesh Chaurasia, sweeping strings, and dynamic percussions, this visual rendition celebrates national heritage through evocative music and expressive Kathak and contemporary dance performances.
