Wade Hayes Old Enough To Know BetterWatch at the source

A high-energy honky-tonk anthem, "Old Enough to Know Better" marked Wade Hayes' debut single, released on November 14, 1994. Co-written by Hayes and Chick Rains, the song humorously portrays the youthful indiscretions of a man who acknowledges his maturity yet continues to indulge in carefree behavior. The track became Hayes' only Number One hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, solidifying his place in the 1990s country music scene. The accompanying music video, directed by Gerry Wenner, features lively scenes that encapsulate the song's spirited narrative.
