Estuary takes place centuries after the fall of humanity. Nature has reclaimed the ruins of civilization. Survivors of the cataclysm wander the wreckage. They worship their gods and bury their dead. A rift to the other world has opened. Magic has returned, and spirits walk the earth.

Kings of USBM, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have returned with sharpened teeth with their new album Estuary.

The record is set 1000 years in the future. Survivors of a cataclysm wander the haunted ruins. It is a world of mutant creatures and open portals Post-apocalyptic religion takes form in a wild landscape.

Estuary is raw and volatile with the storming sensuality of noisy industrial elements, evolving through the domain of warm rain, majestic forests and diffused starlight. Massive percussion and seething gothic guitars wipe the listener’s psyche clear of all stagnation, transforming them into active, evolutionary conduits.

Wolves in the Throne Room will be opening portals and performing songs from Estuary on the "Knights of Tiamat Tour" across the UK and Europe this fall, followed by the USA in early 2027.
