Goldie Boone Box Fan SummerWatch at the source

“I don’t miss you like I did. But I miss that box fan summer.”

“Box Fan Summer” is from my album, Nothing Saved for Sunday. It’s about first love, late nights on the porch, and the way one familiar sound can bring back a whole summer.

The person moves on. So do you. Then an old fan starts rattling, and suddenly you remember the headlights by the mailbox, the lightning bugs, and how certain everything felt at seventeen.

For anyone who’s happy with the life they’ve built but still has a summer they’ll never forget. This one’s yours.

What sound takes you straight back to a memory? Tell me in the comments.

Thank you for listening and sharing these songs with someone who might need them.
